The Key Peninsula Farm Tour featured a day of activities, music, and some good old fashion farm family fun.
The 2011 Farm Tour is past but a new one is being prepared for next year.
We are in the process of preparing pictures and videos of the events of the 2011 tour. Come back again and sign up for the news letter.

My tour recommendation

From Purdy fallow Hwy 302 west Watch for the Tour information center after Lake Katherine shopping center. The Drive Through Feed Store will be on the left further out 302. Turn left onto Wright Bliss Road and stop at Blue Willow Lavender farm; it is easy to find. from there they can direct you to Morgan Creek Farm which is on the next road west Bliss Cocherane Rd [exit 302 at nursing home]. From there you can return to Vaughn and go past the Civic Center and Museum. [May stop and see the wooden whale] From south Vaughn road turn left at the Y on Lackey road to Gentle Giant Meadows Ranch which will be on your left going down a steep hill. From there I recommend You continue on to Key Peninsula Hwy and through Home. Just after the Evergreen School Creviston Road KPS Y's to the right. Take it and you will come to the event center on the left. After you finish there continue on Creviston Road which will become Erickson Road and will take you past several interesting farms and to Longbranch. At Longbranch turn right on Key Peninsula Highway past the marina and to Kaukiki farm. Then return to Longbranch and stop at the Historic Improvement Club building for the Fiber Arts Show. By that time the kids will be tired but you can promise that the rest of the stoops will be shorter. Back at Home stop at the Trillium Creek Winery for a bottle of wine and just before Key center at the Bee Lady for some honey. Then at Key center turn right at the light and go past Glen Cove where you will see a steam donkey on the right and behind that the Historic Glen Cove Hotel. You will go past Camp Symore. Just before returning to Key Peninsula Highway you will find Creviston KPN on the right, turn there and continue past the fish hatchery to Bea's Flowers for a some beautiful Dahlias.
Hope to see You at the Event Center.
